If the brake pads have reached their service life, there will be a small metal protrusion at both ends of the brake pads, about 2~3mm. This thickness is actually the limited wear thickness of our brake pads, that is, when the brake pads are worn to this thickness, The brake pads will be replaced, and at this time, the small metal protrusions at both ends of the brake pads have begun to wear and rotate the brake discs with the vehicle, which will also wear the brake discs.

The groove of the brake disc may be caused by the following reasons:

1. The brake pads are hard, or the brake pads are severely worn, and the exposed metal of the brake pads directly rub against the brake disc. And there should be a harsh sound at this time

2. There are sand grains and metal objects between the brake pad and the disc, causing grooves to be formed after friction between the two

3. Brake bite, disc and sheet contact for a long time to build the rear groove.

4. The brake disc is normally worn. The maximum wear limit of the brake disc is 2mm. It is necessary to replace the new brake disc after the limit is applied.

The consequence of not dealing with it in time is that the groove of the brake disc will become deeper and deeper, so that in severe cases, the brake will be weak and the friction will be uneven. The brakes are shaking, and the brakes are scratching, causing the braking force to drop.

Some friends just because they did not deal with it in time, causing the groove to get deeper and deeper, and only the brake disc can be polished when it is processed. It is not recommended to polish the brake disc when it is not necessary. The consequence of polishing several times is that the braking force is directly unbalanced, which is very dangerous.
