The ordinary disc is solid. The ventilated disc type has a ventilation effect, which means that the centrifugal force generated by the car during exercise can make air convection and achieve the purpose of heat dissipation. This is determined by the special structure of the disc type.

From the outside, it has many holes leading to the center of the circle on the circumference. They are made by a special process, so the heat dissipation effect is much better than that of ordinary disc type.

Of course, due to the relationship between the manufacturing process and the cost, the brake pads of the front ventilated disc and the rear ordinary disc are usually used in the middle and good cars, and the front and rear ventilated discs are used in the high-quality cars. In addition, most economical cars use front and rear drum brake pads. The front discs used here are generally ordinary discs rather than ventilated discs.
