If there is only a slight rust on the surface, we can clean it by continuous braking while driving. Of course, this is on the premise of ensuring safety and not affecting public transportation. When driving, lightly step on the brakes to let the friction between the brake pads and the brake disc "polish" the surface.

If the rust is more serious, we do not recommend the use of the above method of stepping on the brake rust. When there are more rust, the surface of the brake disc will be uneven. In this case, the brake will cause the body to shake, and the driver can clearly feel the abnormality of the brake pedal, steering wheel and body. At this time, it will be difficult to remove the rust, even if barely "polished", it will cause abnormal wear of the brake pads afterwards, and there will still be jitter.

Therefore, we try our best to drive the vehicle into the repair shop, remove the brake disc, polish the rust with sandpaper, check the surface of the brake pads for abnormalities, and conduct a road test after installation. Drive at a speed of 70 KM/H on a flat road and brake several times to ensure that there is no abnormality. If there is still jitter, it means that the surface of the brake disc is uneven and needs to be further polished and leveled or replaced as the case may be.
