Product Introduction
The brake disc, in simple terms, is a round plate, which also rotates when the car is moving. The brake caliper clamps the brake disc to generate braking force. When the brake is stepped on, it clamps the brake disc to slow down or stop. The brake disc has a good braking effect and is easier to maintain than drum brakes.
There are disc brakes, drum brakes and air brakes. Many older cars have front and rear drums. Many cars have disc brakes at the front and rear. Because disc brakes have better heat dissipation than drum brakes, they are not prone to thermal degradation under high-speed braking, so their high-speed braking effect is good. But in the low-speed cold brake, the braking effect is not as good as the drum brake. The price is more expensive than the drum brake. Therefore, many mid-to-high-end cars use full-disc brakes, while ordinary cars use front and rear drums, while relatively low-speed trucks and buses that require a large braking force still use drum brakes.
Drum brakes are sealed and shaped like drums. There are also many brake pots in China. It turns when driving. There are two arc-shaped or semicircular brake shoes fixed inside the drum brake. When the brake is stepped on, the two brake shoes are stretched out under the action of the brake wheel cylinder, and the brake shoes are supported to rub against the inner wall of the brake drum to slow down or stop.
