Product Introduction
刹车轮毂又名刹车鼓 、制动鼓，是一种形状类似铃鼓的铸铁件，它与轮胎固定并同速转动。刹车时运用油压推动刹车蹄片接触刹车鼓内缘，藉由接触产生的磨擦力来抑制轮胎之转动以达成刹车之目的。通俗地讲，刹车轮毂就像一个套在轮毂上的金属鼓或者一个小桶，而桶底就是在刹车的时候摩擦汽车的轮毂来使车停下的。
刹车鼓是构成鼓式刹车系统的重要部件，鼓式刹车的刹车鼓内面就是刹车装置产生刹车力矩的位置。在获得相同刹车力矩的情况下，鼓式刹车装置的刹车鼓的直径可以比盘式刹车的刹车盘还要小上许多。因此载重用的大型车辆为获取强大的制动力，只能够在轮圈的有限空间之中装置鼓式刹车。鼓式刹车系统一般安装在大型车辆的后轮。
